Sea Sessions

I just thought I would share with you some pics of when I went to Sea Sessions. If you don't know what it is, its a Music and Surf Festival in Bundoran Co. Donegal and its on for 3 days. it was just Me and my friend who travelled up. The journey is not for the faint hearted. We had to get a bus from Dublin to Sligo and from Sligo to Donegal. Think it was around 4 hrs. Probably one of the longest trips I ever done. I don't travel very well.

We decided to stay in The great Northern Hotel lets just say we are not the camping type! The hotel was nice. The room we had was a little on the small size but had a nice view. We didn't get a chance to try out the leisure facilities and had even bought a new swim suit :-( . O did I mention that all the Bands and Dj's were staying in our hotel!! My friend was very excited. We were sitting having lunch and in walked The villagers and I turn to my friend. God your man looks really like your man from the villagers after googling a pic and she turning around to have a nose at him we decided it wasn't him then we walk into the tent and there he was on the stage. Funny it was.

Royseven- This was my 1st time to see them and

they had the tent going mental. One of top acts I seen

the whole weekend. (going to see them again at Kaiser

Chiefs at the end of the month)

Jamie Lawson-he was great. I hadn't heard any of his

music but I really liked him

My friend dragged me cliff walking one morning.

Its gorgeous I could have sat there all day

Bell X1- They were really good and they had a lot of fans there

I didn't think I knew a lot of their songs but turned out I

do!! Got talking to one of their 'people' and he was telling

me that they got great reviews in America. Said they

could be the next U2!!

I cant remember this bands name. But their music was

kind of similar to Arctic Monkeys.

Kings of Leon at Slane

These are some pics of Kings of Leon at Slane back in May. I have being dying to see them for years. I only got to hear a few songs at Oxegen a couple of years ago because I was really sick and had to go home :-(

I wasn't really impressed with the supporting acts. They just weren't my cup of tea at all. It was my 1st time at Slane and I'm telling you it was more like a hike walk than going to a concert!! FYI if one's ever going to Slane make sure to wear comfy shoes. Me and my friend wore Wellies. I had put insole in mine but she hadn't and her feet was killing her.

Some pics of Oxegen

Hi,

Just wanted to share with you some pics of this year's Oxegen. I have being having problems with uploading for ages.I can't seem to fix the layout of the photo's either that's why there are a bit of a mess!! I done the whole weekend but didn't camp. I got the bus up and down every day. I couldn't believe the weather. It only rained twice. Once for The script and once for Slash. I had a great week.

So many acts were brilliant. Loved The script (the rain didnt even put people off)that was my 4th time seening them. I had just seen them the week before at the Aviva stadium. I'm not a stalker I had got my Aviva ticket before they were announced for Oxegen, Beyonce, Coldplay, Artic Monkeys, Calvin Harris (didn't get to see all of him but still great) Example (I'm dyin to for some one to come see him with me but none of my friends will come :-(

Royseven were great as well. Wish there had being a bigger crowd for them. I seen them at Sea sessions and the crowd went mad for them. Black eyed peas were much better this year. Last year I was up the front and couldn't even hear anything. Weezer were good as well, they played Wheatus Teenage Dirtbag (ah Memories) so was Bruno Mars, Kesha ( I seen her the week before in the O2. She really knows how to get the crowds going and finally The saturdays. That was my second time to see them. They put on a good show. Feel like I told you every one I seen!! My sister came with me on the Sunday and she couldn't believe why she hadn't being before.
